Blomer knocks of Northwestern boys

The Bloomer Blackhawks defeated the Northwestern boys basketball team 66-53 Thursday night in Maple.

Bloomer, 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Heart O’ North Conference, was led by Payton Dachel’s 32 points.

Mason Miller added 14 points, including four 3-pointers.

Brody Payton led the Tigers with 18 points.

Northwestern (3-2, 5-5) is at Cumberland at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
