A scrappy Cameron High School team put the clamps on Cathedral Panthers’ scoring ace George Donley, holding him to nine points, but Joe Hagadorn picked up the slack and produced 18 points that enabled the Superior five to post a 64-46 win. (Jan. 4, 1958)

Joe Hagadorn cracked a 704 scratch series for a men’s national honor count while competing in the Men’s Commercial Bowling League at the Village Bowl. He turned in games of 211, 227 and 266. Hagadorn averages 189 in the league. (Jan. 5, 1985)
